1. Navigate to https://flowlens.app/sales
2. From the actions menu, create a new sale.
3. The customer, contact and address fields are search fields meaning you will have to create the customer, contact or address in the Companies section before you can add them to an order.
4. Give your new sale a name so it can be easily found in the sales table.
5. Add your customer purchase order number here and choose the date the order is required by.

8. Make sure the currency is correct here. You will only be able to choose currencies that have been preconfigured in the settings. To add a new currency, please head over to the settings menu finance section.
9. You can also adjust the order date if you are retrospectively adding a sales order. Update your delivery details.
10. and add in any carriage cost if applicable. Click here to create the sale.
11. Next, we can add a product by clicking here.
12. This is a search field so the product must exist in the parts list before it can be added to an order.
13. Adjust the quantity and date required. Each line item on an order can have its own due date.
14. If you have correctly set up the part, its description, cost, nominals and tax rate will pull through automatically once added to the order. You can amend these here.
15. Now we can generate a quotation from the draft order via the actions menu of the order.
16. Click "Generate Quote". You can also use the actions menu to cancel or edit the order. If a quote isn't required you can place immediately confirm the order here.
17. Update the quotation name and create the quote.
18. You can have multiple quotes on a sales order. Each quote will have its own line item and actions menu.
19. From the action menu of this quotation you can download it as a PDF. You can then edit, reject or accept the quote.

22. Once the quote is accepted we need to confirm the order, head back to the actions menu of the order.
23. Click create draft from accepted quotes.

25. And now you can mark the order as confirmed in the actions menu.

28. You can access any quotes associated with the order using the quotations tab.
29. Use the stock request tab to see the list of parts that are required to complete the sale.
30. If anything needs to be manufactured, you can view that in the job cards tab.
31. You can view any purchases that are associated with the sales order by clicking on the purchase order tab.
32. You can use the delivery tab to check any dispatches, and you can use the invoicing. Tab to view any invoices that have been raised.

34. Any costs associated with this sale will show up in the cost tab and you will have an activity log to show you all changes made to this sales order.
35. Any activity associated with the sale will be tracked here. This is essentially an audit log of the sale activity.
36. You can now head back to the platform and try building your first sale.
