Release FL2 25.08.30

Written by Rich Dale

Companies and CRM

We have added 2 new tiles on the company index page, “Suppliers” and “Customers”, so you can more easily access each list. Companies who are both customers and suppliers will appear in both tiles.

You can now see additional info about the customer by clicking on ‘more’ beside the company name in companies list.

We have added additional tabs to the company page showing items associated with the company e.g. sales orders, quotes, sales invoices, purchase orders, and purchase invoices.

Finance

In the company page you now have the option to configure a customer for pro-forma invoicing. When this option is selected, you will only be able to raise pro forma invoices against them. Choosing credit will raise a standard invoice.

Note - this may only work for new sales. The pro-forma can be generated from the actions menu of the sales order and will appear in the pro-forma tab on the sales order. You can have multiple pro-formas per sales order and they will have their own actions menu.

Usability

We have updated the date range filters to include dynamic ranges. This means you can now set rolling ranges e.g. year to date, last 30 days etc

In the parts dispatch and parts receipts, against each line item you will now see what it was dispatched or received against e.g. SO123445, PO12345

Data importing

We have added more error statuses so you can fix issues before you import the data.

The parts import has been updated to include 2 new columns to allow you to bulk update subcontracted parts. Saying ‘Yes’ to subcontracted will create a subcontracting workflow in the part workflow tab. If you say ‘yes’ to automatically add subcontracting steps, these will be automatically created in the job card without you having to select to add them in.
