External connections
You can now connect Flowlens with QuickBooks for seamless financial management. The connection allows you to sync your tax rates and nominal codes with Flowlens. You can push sales invoices, credit notes and purchase invoices to QuickBooks from Flowlens and sync customer and supplier records.
Sales stages
You can now add sales stages in the organisation settings and add these to your sales orders. Go to the actions menu of the order, choose edit sale and use the search box to find the correct stage. This corresponds with the sales pipeline and forecast report which is coming soon.
Duplicate parts
You can now duplicate parts from the part action menu. This will include the part details (e.g. name, revision, manufactured, purchased etc) so you will need to update the part number and/or revision number before saving. It will also copy the part suppliers and part workflows, including steps and required parts.
Archive parts
You can now archive parts using the part action menu. Archived parts will not show in search fields on orders or part workflows, ensuring these parts cannot be added to new items. An additional filter has been added in the part report to help you manage these parts.
Bookmarks
You can now save page queries as bookmarks, giving you quick access to your most important filtered tables. For example, you might create a bookmark to instantly view all sales orders due in the next 7 days that haven’t yet been dispatched, as shown below. For help with setting queries, please contact us on [email protected].
Receiving goods – parts inspections
An option has been added in the part menu (go to part actions menu, choose edit part) to flag if a part requires an inspection. If this toggle is turned on, when a part receipt is created, users will be prompted to choose an inspection status and add inspection notes for that part. This allows you to track and document issues with parts received to help with quality & compliance reporting.
2 new reports have been added in the stock menu to help you manage the inspection process: 'Receipts Pending Inspection' and 'Receipts Failed Inspection'.
